Tōnui Collab Summer Holiday STEMM Workshops - Week 1 @ ATAWHAI Youth Hub

Virtual Reality : Monday 19 December
Tamariki will explore a range of different Virtual Reality experiences and experiment with creating a VR experience of their own. The workshop will cover concepts of UX design, storytelling and 3D content creation.
Game Development : Tuesday 20 December
Tamariki will play some retro arcade style games with us and then start designing and building their own retro arcade-style game. The workshop will cover game narrative, block-based coding, character creation, UX design, and iterative design methodologies. Tamariki will be able to share their games with friends and whānau after the workshop.
Robotics : Wednesday 21 December 
Tamariki will collaboratively build remote control robotic cars and take on a number of challenges to test their robot’s ability to speed around a race course, dodging obstacles, traversing over ramps and bridges. The workshop will cover basic robotic engineering and iterative design methodologies.
