Our World Famous in Gizzy River Run Series starts Tuesday, 8 February!
(We’ll be keeping an eye on community wellness. We’re crossing our fingers and planning events, but will cancel if the situation worsens.)
First, the Red Traffic Light details:
This is a Vax Pass Event. The first time you register, you must show your Vaccination Passport. (From then on, you won’t have to show it.)
If you are unwell, awaiting results of a covid test, or are meant to be isolating for any reason, you must not attend.
We are limited to 100 participants. Arrive early to register in order to secure your spot. Face masks and 1m distancing is encouraged when you’re not running/walking.
This is a whānau-friendly event. All ages and abilities can participate. However, given restrictions, we cannot accommodate non-participants.

Meet from 5.30pm at the Marina Carpark for a 6pm start
2.5km (1 lap) or 5km (2 laps)
$2 entry
Free for 2021 Harriers Members (#rungisborne members)
And back by popular demand, free entry if you provide a spot prize (fresh produce, etc).
The route doesn’t cross any roads or climb any stairs which means it’s accessible for people of different abilities, families with strollers and young ones.
Starting Tuesday, 8 Feb, enjoy some late summer evening loops around one of our beautiful waterways. And while the course doesn’t actually take you *into* the river, it’s right there if you want a post-run/walk dip!
