School holiday boredom starting to kick in? Feeling in need of some hands-on learning?
Bring a smartphone and come and take a curious look in the TEC garden to see what epic lifeforms we can discover!
Together we’ll place a lens over:
– Observation and Identification with iNaturalist and Seek – photography, phenology notes, community projects
– How we can use tech and data to make informed decisions for the green spaces around us.
– This is a whānau workshop so children will need to be accompanied by an adult to attend.
– Please note that there are beehives in the garden if you are allergic to bees. We do not have an EPI Pen on site.
-Let us know when registering if you don’t have enought devices for everyone in your group as we can provide devices for the workshop if required.
-The workshop will be held in the Garden so be prepared with sunscreen and a hat or a raincoat and gumboots depending on what this summer throws at us.
KOHA.
Call us on 8674708 or flick us a message via FB to book for the workshop. Places are limited to 25 and it’s first in first served
