Avenue Q tells the story of a recent college graduate named Princeton, who is trying to find his way in the world, a world that will be at once familiar to us and a little strange. There are Care Bears recast as Bad Ideas Bears, and every idea they have brings about a demise somewhere. There are seriously catchy songs but with twisted lyrics such as “Everyone’s a little bit racist” and “It sucks to be me”. Peter describes the music as “spectacular”.

Build-A-Band is a semi-regular weekly event on Thursdays where we literally build bands out of the audience. All gear is set up, tuned up and mic’d up ready to go and the only rule is that if you’ve had a fair bit to drink we’d appreciate it if you saved it til next time. On average we build 5-6 bands in a night and it’s always a treat. Free entry.

PRE SALES – https://www.cosmicticketing.co.nz/event/6590…
TUSCOMA will be dropping their much anticipated third album “Gu-cci” on June 30th followed up by a New Zealand tour with some of NZ’s top metal and punk bands.
TUSCOMA blends atmospheric textures of early shoegaze bands with punishing contemporary songwriting and rhythm sections reminiscent of black metal and hardcore creating a visceral and completely unique experience for hardened veterans of heavy music who might know exactly what to expect from a modern metal band.
With support from the monstrous Flay the Apostle and Fuzebox
