Terangi Roimata Kutia-Tataurangi is an emerging visual artist practicing primarily in painting and nail art, she graduated in 2013 from Toihoukura, School of Visual Art and Design. As a qualified nail technician she is the pioneer of an innovative art form known as Toimaikuku – Māori Nail Art. Terangi Roimata describes her style as bright and bold with a unique feminine and indigenous modern twist. Terangi will be demonstrating toimaikuku – māori nail art at Te Pūtahi.
Te Pūtahi – The Trust Tairāwhiti Festival Hub is the point of connection, to gather and be a part of Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival 2021. Each day has an exciting array of activities and workshops to keep the tamariki entertained for hours. With live performances, markets and kai on offer, bring the whole whānau along to relax and soak up the festival atmosphere.
